李辉,现南方科技大学材料科学与工程系讲席教授。2007年加入加拿大国家研究院燃料电池创新研究所, 先后担任多项重要国家研究项目及国际合作项目的技术负责人,包括与美国能源部(US DOE)的合作项目,与德国国家航空研究中心(DRL)的合作项目, 以及和处于世界领先地位的燃料电池公司(Ballard, Hydrogenics, AFCC, MBFC) 的工业合作项目。在氢气质子交换膜燃料电池的设计、诊断和耐久性研究方面进行了深入的开拓性的研究,掌握了世界领先的燃料电池核心技术,开发出了独特的燃料电池系统的设计,发明了一系列有关燃料电池的测试诊断工具,深入研究了燃料电池性能衰减的机理和提高耐久性的方法,发表了许多有关燃料电池的优秀论文和专著,赢得了燃料电池国际专家的荣誉,曾经多次被同行国际专家邀请为他们的著作撰写章节。2009年受德国著名燃料电池专家Jurgen Garche和美国电化学专家Chris Dyer(Journal of Power Sources主编)的邀请为“电化学能源大全”(Encyclopedia of Electrochemical Power Souces)撰写了“质子交换膜燃料污染”一章; 2010年受CRC出版社的邀请,编写了“质子交换膜燃料电池污染及缓解”专   著; 2011年受CRC出版社的邀请,编写了“质子交换膜燃料电池诊断工具”和“质子交换膜燃料电池失效模式分析”两集手册;2014再次受CRC出版社邀请,编写了“质子交换膜电解水制氢”专著。至今,发表有关氢能与燃料电池的优秀论文50余篇,包括在Chem. Review  及 Progress  in Materials Science发表的该领域的重要综述文章。主编相关专著4部,撰写书籍章节共8章,授权国际专利4项。
